THE BEASTY BOUTIQUE
ABOUTThirteen years ago I made a few pairs of earrings and brought them to work thinking maybe someone would buy them and I could send the proceeds to animal rescue and welfare organizations in the area of our northern California town. Soon I was making more jewelry and the folks at work were enjoying having a place to shop inside the stress that was our office. My small table of jewelry became a store and the money coming from the sales far exceeded anything I alone could send to help animals in need. It was decided to call this shop The Beasty Boutique and people from outside our office came to visit and shop along with my coworkers raising money for homeless animals and getting lots of compliments on the jewelry they purchased. Over the eight years I made and sold things at work I was able to send at least $5,000 to various animal welfare groups. After I retired, The Beasty Boutique had to relocate. While developing a new location for the Beasty Boutique I continued to make jewelry. I was able to send $2,000 to the Humane Society of the United States, Noah's Wish, and the Shreveport Animal Shelter for the rescue and care of animal victims of hurricane Katrina. Now the new location for The Beasty Boutique is up and running on the Web! I hope you will enjoy the jewelry and mirrors you find here. Please keep in mind and heart these images of some of those who will be helped when you shop here. Thank you. HOME ABOUT Jewelry Hand Mirrors Tribe of the Bead People CONTACT PAYMENT
